Upon learning of Bhagwan Das’s plight, a group of compassionate individuals came together, determined to alleviate his suffering. Aashu, a young girl whom I encountered while she was soliciting alms on the street with her tricycle, left a profound impression on me. It took some time for me to discern whether she was begging of her own volition or if she was being compelled by someone else. Upon approaching Aashu and engaging her in conversation, I learned of the tragic circumstances that had befallen her. She had lost both her legs in a train accident and was now forced to rely on begging for survival, as her family had abandoned her. This revelation filled me with sorrow and a myriad of questions swirled in my mind. But amidst the despair, there arose a determination to alter Aashu’s fate. It became evident that urgent efforts were needed to improve her situation.
The tricycle Aashu had been using was in a state of disrepair, so arrangements were made for her to receive a new one. Additionally, steps were taken to secure employment for Aashu that did not involve begging. With perseverance and resilience, Aashu began to carve out a new path for herself.

The harsh reality was that amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life, Vikas often found himself soiled from being dragged across the ground during a routine ration distribution, fate intervened, bringing Vikas face to face with the possibility of transformation. Through conversation, his plight came to light. Upon visiting Pooja’s home and meeting with her parents, we recognized the urgent need for a wheelchair. Pooja’s father assumed the role of caretaker, handling all her daily chores, the wheelchair became an valuable tool for Pooja’s mobility.
